Help keep the school clean and green! Ecology club is open to students in grades 2-3. Every Wednesday from 3:15-3:30 students gather to collect recycling from around the school. On the third Wednesday of the month there is a meeting from 3:15-4 p.m.

Gray Street Groove Marimba Band meets every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. This is a closed group.

The Marimba Band is an auditioned group of 4th and 5th graders who practice before school. They perform at the monthly school assemblies and around town.  It is a great way for students to practice being in a musical ensemble before joining band or orchestra in middle school.

Kindness club is for 5th grade students only. Students meet every Friday from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. starting Oct. 13.

Set a good example and be a student others look up to at Marcus Whitman! Student Leadership meets every Tuesday at 8 a.m.

• Kindergarten & Grade 1 Lego Club: Meets every Friday, October to December 2023, from 2:15 to 3 p.m. 
• Grade 2 & 3 Lego Club: Meets every Friday in January and February 2024 from 2:15 to 3 p.m. 
• Grade 4 & 5 Lego Club: Meets every Friday in March and April 2024 from 2:15 to 3 p.m. 

All three clubs are led by Christina Omta.

• Explore Teams LEGO: Students in Grades 2-3 meet every Friday from 2:15-3:15 p.m. starting Spring 2024. 
• First Lego League Challenge: Select 4th and 5th grade students participate in Lego robotics competitions. This group is by invite only.

Both clubs are led by Molly Dortch.

Safety Patrol meets on the 1^st Wednesday of each month at 8:00am in the lunch room.
